Conveyor Hall Entry Designs done for Alien: Romulus

An important shot that had to be designed as this is where we shift towards that classic ‘Aliens’ aesthetic in the film.
Industrial, awkward and utilitarian sums up the look we were going for. The intent of the design was to make the steep angle of the architecture add weight and pressure over the protagonist whilst portraying a feeling of discomfort to the viewer. The dramatic lines also help keep the eye at the focal point.
